Welcome, taking the first step in starting therapy is a courageous act as part of your path to wellness. During our time together we will move at a pace that feels right for you and work together towards building a trusting relationship to address the concerns that bring you to therapy.
I am a Registered Social Worker who works with adults who have experienced trauma, PTSD, and occupational stress injury. I have experience working with trauma exposed professionals such as: first responders, public safety personnel, military members, veterans, and healthcare professionals.
I also work with individuals who have experienced mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression and other mood disorders, major life transitions, grief, and traumatic bereavement.
My approach to therapy is grounded in empathy, respect and a genuine desire to build your inner strength in navigating life’s challenges. Trauma can leave people feeling overwhelmed, disconnected and unsure of where to turn. With my background in trauma informed care, I strive to create a safer space where we can engage in curiosity about your thoughts, emotions, and experiences to gain insight into your challenges and strengths. I will support you as you connect with your inner resources, build understanding of the messages your emotions are sending, and find healthier ways to cope. In our sessions you can expect a collaborative process where my goal is to provide skills that honour your growth and healing, while working towards your goals on the way to building a life in which you can thrive.
I invite you to book a free consultation where we can discuss your needs and ensure we are a good fit.
