I am currently pursuing my Master of Social Work at Wilfrid Laurier University, having previously completed an undergraduate degree in Honours Psychology and Criminal Justice & Public Policy. Throughout my academic journey, I have cultivated a strong passion for supporting communities and advocating for mental health. My professional and volunteer experiences, both within my university and with external counseling services, have deepened my commitment to creating environments that prioritize client safety, trust, and holistic support.

In my practice, I have gained significant experience working with adults, primarily individuals aged 18 and older, who are navigating challenges related to depression, anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), self-esteem, and life stressors. My approach is grounded in evidence-based therapies, with a particular emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I focus on mindfulness and stress management techniques to empower clients in their personal growth. Additionally, I am expanding my expertise to incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and I plan to integrate elements of exposure therapy and spiritual therapy when appropriate or requested by clients.

My goal as a practitioner is to foster a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel supported in their journey towards self-improvement. By offering compassion and empathy, I aim to collaborate with clients to set achievable goals and celebrate every step of progress, no matter how big or small. I firmly believe that all progress should be acknowledged and celebrated, and I am dedicated to working together with my clients to help build a brighter, more fulfilling future.
